EVA NYC Dry Shampoo and Dry Conditioner

Eva NYC Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner Review

EVA NYC Soften Up Dry ConditionerEva NYC’s Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner is actually a unique hair care product unlike anything that I’ve come across on the market. It is actually a hybrid of sorts-It is a hair refresher that reduces static and adds subtle shine, all while detangling your hair and making it look and feel fresh.

I have long bleached blonde hair that can get dry looking on the ends. Right after a wash and blowout my hair looks great, however, typically by day 2 my ends start to look dry and my roots tend to be a bit dull and flat. I’ve always been able to successfully address the way my roots look by using one of the many dry shampoos out there, but, I’ve never really had a good way of handling my length and ends. Using balms and serums on the ends weighed my hair down and exacerbated the fact that I was sporting day 2 (sometimes day 3) hair. The lightweight spray formula of Eva NYC’s Dry Conditioner is a game changer though.

EVA NYC Dry Shampoo and Dry ConditionerI’ve been using this for about a month now and have found that the best way for me to do it is to start by spraying my roots with Dry Shampoo (I like Eva NYC’s Dry Shampoo, Klorane Dry Shampoo with Oat Milk and Batiste Clean & Classic Original Dry Shampooicon) and then I spray the Eva NYC Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner on the lengths below my ears down to the ends. I hold the can about 10-12 inches away while quickly moving it around my hair so as not to spray too much product on any one spot. Then I use a nice brush to spread the product onto all of my strands. I finger style to finish and I am ready to go.

An unexpected benefit I noticed is that if you are suffering with static, a couple of quick spritzes of the Dry Conditioner makes it disappear instantly!

I haven’t seen Eva NYC products in a lot of stores, however, you can find it at Walgreens online in Walgreens Beauty & Skin Care. The Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner, 5.1oz retails for $14 a bottle which is a very fair price for the size and quality. I also love the fact that this is an American made product that was born in 2012 right here in Brooklyn, NY.

The Eva NYC website did not publish the full ingredient list, but it does list the following as notable ingredients:

VITAMIN B5 – Seals and softens the cuticle

VITAMIN C & OMEGAS 3, 6, 7, 9 – Enhances shine, moisturizes and strengthens

Have any of you tried the Eva NYC Forget Me Knot Dry Conditioner? If so, what did you think about it? Let me know in the comments below.
